Deeper Dive into NIH NIDCD, NEI and NIA (June 11, 2025)

These three institutes are very important to all of us as we are all aging and many with have issues with our eyes and hearing.
NIDCD:
NIDCD conducts and supports research in the normal and disordered processes of hearing, balance, taste, smell, voice, speech, and language.
NEI
For more than 50 years, the National Eye Institute (NEI) has been on the front lines of vision research — and we continue to support cutting-edge research projects that investigate new ways to prevent, treat, or even reverse vision loss. We also work hard to help the public learn about vision problems and how to keep their eyes healthy.
 
 
NAI
The Institute seeks to understand the nature of aging and the aging process, and diseases and conditions associated with growing older, in order to extend the healthy, active years of life.
